Rules for Tours

IFR Tours

These rules apply to tours or their parts (legs) that are flown under IFR rules.

  • All legs MUST be flown online, in the right order, and with real weather.
  • Flights must be flown in realtime mode (1× sim rate, no accelerated mode allowed). Military and supersonic aircrafts (e.g F18, Concorde, …) are forbidden !
  • A maximum disconnection of 15/20 minutes will be accepted due to FS or PC crash reasons (must be stated with time in UTC)
  • Please make sure the aircraft you choose is suitable and can operate within limits of airport (aircraft category!)
  • Direct to routings are not accepted.
  • Members not communicating via UNICOM (122.800) will be excluded from the tour.
  • ATC guidance is not necessary all the way
  • Please pay attention to your flight plans. Flight plans with wrong departure/arrival airfields will NOT be accepted.
  • Using charts is mandatory.
  • Do not exceed 250 KIAS below FL100 if not allowed by ATC.
  • Remember to report legs in UTC time and 24 hours format.

VFR Tours

These rules apply to tours or their parts (legs) that are flown under VFR rules.

  • All legs MUST be flown online, in the right order, and with real weather.
  • Flights must be flown in realtime mode (1× sim rate, no accelerated mode allowed).
  • The maximum allowed cruise speed is 220 KIAS !!!
  • A maximum disconnection of 15/20 minutes will be accepted due to FS or PC crash reasons (must be stated with time in UTC)
  • Please pay attention to your flight plans. Flight plans with wrong departure/arrival airfields will NOT be accepted
  • As this is a VFR tour, legs have to be flown with single/twin propeller aircrafts, not bigger than a B350/B1900 or similar (no ATR)
  • Remember max altitude on the VFR tour is 4500 AGL
  • Respect the visual rules of flying
  • Remember to report legs in UTC time and 24 hours format.
